Conference of Council of Directors.
10th of April, 2001 the regular Conference
of Council of Directors of JSC "Pavlovo Bus" take place.
There were considered questions, dealing with the next
annual general meeting of shareholders, which will take
place on the 15th of June, 2001. The agenda contained
confirmation of the new project of "Regulations for
annual general meeting of shareholders ", preliminary
consideration of the annual report, profit and damage
annual accounts, current account of JSC "Pavlovo Bus".

Plans for the second quarter of 2001.
In April it is planned to keep production
rate of units with which during 20 working days should
be produced and prepared for sale 920 buses of the base
model PAZ-3205, 10 buses of PAZ-5272 model and 10 buses
of PAZ-4230 model "Aurora" In May and June, depending
on the number of working days, production plan will
be 736 and 868 buses accordingly.
The totals of the first quarter of
2001
In total during the first quarter of
2001 were produced 2072 buses (in 1st quarter of 2000
- accordingly 1500 buses), among them 17 big city buses
PAZ-5272 (in 1st quarter of 2000 accordingly - 1 vehicle).
Sales became stable: in February - 584, in March - 927
buses were sold. Sales plan for April - 950 vehicles.
The production plans were fulfilled: spare parts - 106.4
per cent, off-the-shelf components and units - 101 per
cent, machine-tool production - 108.2 per cent.
The totals of March, 2001
During March, 2001 there were prepared
for sale 736 PAZ-3205 buses and different modifications
of the model (the plan was 726 units), put on the axles
726 vehicles, were sold 927 buses.
In March there were produced and prepared for sale 9
planned buses of PAZ-5272 model (big city bus on KamAZ
chassis), and 13 vehicles of the model were put on the
axles.
The first serial lot of medium class buses PAZ-4230
"Aurora" was started in production. To the end of the
month 4 such buses were put on the axles.
In the middle of February delegation
of Chief Engineer of JSC "Pavlovo Bus" Vasiliy I. Kaplun
and Chief Designer Nikolay B. Sofonov jointly with representatives
of "Dinol" company (firm "Interplast", N.Novgorod) visited
Katrineholm (Sweden), where they visited the "Dinol"
enterprise. The company specializes on anticorrosive
processing of the bodies. The delegation also visited
plants of the enterprises "SKANIA" and "SOR" (Czech
Republic), where technologies of "Dinol" are used.
During the visit anticorrosive processing
of the bus bodies, which are used at the enterprises,
were considered, and the possibility of their introduction
in production process at JSC "Pavlovo Bus" were studied.
In January-February,2001 leaders of
JSC "Pavlovo Bus" visited some foreign enterprises.
23 - 27 of January Chief Engineer of
JSC "Pavlovo Bus" Vasiliy I. Kaplun and Chief of Analytic
Department Konstantin E. Pevchikh visited some enterprises
in countries of Eastern Europe in order to expand cooperation
and to find new supplies of complete units. During the
business trip representatives of JSC "Pavlovo Bus" visited
Bulgarian enterprise "VAMO", which produces engines
on the license of "Perkins" company, "AMADA" plant,
which can supply chassis for the new long models of
PAZ brand, and "Jeltz" - Polish bus plant, which produces
models, which are very similar with PAZ brand buses.
The result of the business trip is a conclusion that
cooperation with eastern-European enterprises is a real
alternative to relations with Russian supplies at the
present moment.

since the very beginning of the year production rate
- 46 buses per a day. During the month it was produced
and prepared for sale 736 buses, sold - 584 PAZ-3205
buses. It exceeded last year's showing by 339 and 176
vehicles accordingly. In total during two months of
the present year there were produced 1344 buses (plus
394 to the past year's rate), sold - 1108 (plus 254).

February 19
An experimental model PAZ-32054-70 for
carrying children was produced at JSC "Pavlovo bus".
The bus is worked up in accordance to GOST R 51160.
The characteristic features of the model
are: pneumatic brake system of ABC-type; running boards
of original construction, including sliding one; seats
of original type with side cushions from the side of
passage and with seat belts; luggage track in the rear
side of the bus; alarm signal "Please stop" in each
cross row; driver's place is equipped with inside and
outside loudspeaker; there are 27 seats for children
+ 2 for adults.
At the present time the bus are preliminary
tested and prepared for certification.
February 16
On February, 16 in Arzamas the planned
annual meeting, conducted by the governor of Nizhniy
Novgorod region Ivan P. Sklyarov, was held. There were
summed up the results of the industrial development
of the region in passed year. The industrial situation
of the region in 2000 was analysed and the annual totals
were summed up. The effective work JSC "Pavlovo bus"
was marked by the Governor Prize and the Governor of
the Nizhniy Novgorod region thanked them officially
for high quality and competitiveness of the production
It was marked, that in spite of all difficulties
in 2000, JSC " Pavlovo bus" has got over crisis.
February 14
February 14 the meeting of Board of directors
was held. The next convention of the shareholders, order
of the day of which was discussed, was appointed on
June 15, 2001. The board of directors remain practically
in the same quantitative and qualitative structure,
as current.
February 8
By the order of the general director
JSC "Pavlovo bus" Vladimir V. Berezhnoy is appointed
to the post of the deputy general sales manager.
February 5
On February, 5 the extended efficient
meeting was held, on which the totals of industrial
activity in January were reviewed.
After 14 working days 600 PAZ-3205 buses
were ready for sales, 650 buses were put on the axles
at the rate of 46 buses a day. Spare parts is made on
the sum of 5043 thousand rbl.; ready details and knots
- on 10694 thousand rbl. (for want of plan 10447).
In February is planned to produce 736
buses, including 70 machines of various modifications.
Is planned to produce 50 machines for Korea.
